CHEER PROGRAM EXPECTATIONS
The North Point Cheer Expectations document should be signed by the athlete and parent, and brought to the tryout clinics or day of tryout scoring. We need this document in order for an athlete to be placed onto a team. 2018-19 New NP Cheer Expectations If you cheered during the Fall season, you do not need to submit a new agreement.
Please make sure you have registered for Winter Cheer, and have received an email indicating that your athlete is CLEARED for the season. This includes uploading a current sports physical and taking the IMPACT test (for new athletes). Clearance from the Athletic Director, Andy Shattuck, is needed for every athlete prior to try-outs.
If you cheered during the Fall season, you DO need to register again for the Winter season, however, the physical you uploaded for the Fall should still be valid, unless it’s close to its expiration date.
If any new athlete needs to take the IMPACT test, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org let us know.
Our cheer store will be open from November 19-23. Please do not purchase anything until a team placement is made. A link will be made public once team placements are announced. We do not plan to change the gear from the Fall season to the Winter season, so it should be the same.
The only additional item we use in the Winter is a sparkle headband, which can be purchased from Coach Lori once the season begins.
Our team placements are always very competitive. We encourage athletes to do their best, have confidence, and PERFORM. Inspire us with your spirit, smiles, loud voices, and excitement…and work on tumbling!
We wish everyone the BEST of luck!
